What we do

Design, build, and the finish work between.

We’re a small crew that handles a project end-to-end — no handoffs to three other companies.

Retaining walls & structures

Allan Block, natural stone, engineered concrete. Built for Island slopes and West Coast rainfall.

Paver patios & walkways

Permeable pavers, natural stone, exposed aggregate. Cut and laid clean, with proper base for the long term.

Landscape design

Garden bed layouts, planting plans, hardscape integration. We hand-draw — no copy-paste templates.

Irrigation install & service

Drip, spray, full smart-controller systems. Coverage you can actually trust through a Vancouver Island summer.

Sheds, pergolas & arbours

Cedar pergolas, custom sheds, garden arches. Built in our shop, finished on-site.

Drainage & grading

French drains, swales, regrading. Critical on West Coast lots — we figure out where the water actually goes.

We walk the property with you, take measurements, listen to what you actually want.

Design proposal

Concept sketch, materials list, ballpark range. Detailed design is a flat fee credited if we build it.

Written quote

Itemized: materials, labour, equipment, disposal. Locked in for 60 days.

Build

On the schedule we agreed to. Photos every couple of days. We clean up before we leave.

Frequently asked.

Do you do small projects?
Yes. A single garden bed redesign or a 15-foot wall is fine. We don't have a minimum, but most projects start around $1,200.
Do you handle the design too?
Yes — concept sketch is part of the proposal. A full detailed design is a flat fee (usually $300–$900) credited back if we build the project.
Are you insured?
Fully — WCB BC and $5M liability. We send certificates before we start work, no questions asked.
How long do projects take?
Most residential projects are 2–6 weeks of actual on-site work depending on scope. We book 4–10 weeks out from sign-off.
Do you work outside Nanaimo?
Anywhere on the mid-Island — Lantzville, Parksville, Qualicum, up to Comox for the right project.
